Formatting and layout are also communication
The length of a text will often change when it is translated. In many cases, the formatting and layout of the text needs to be adapted. There may also be text contained in graphical elements or pictures that needs to be translated, but which may not be immediately accessible for the translator.
Inter-Set has its own DTP department, which can take care of all types of post editing of the translated text. We work with just about all DTP applications and file formats. We can deliver your translation as a file that is ready to go to press. We are also more than happy to proof the final layout.
We translate from and into languages that use other types of letters and signs than Roman type. Here there is often a need for extra post editing. Extra attention is required when selecting file formats. We are aware of the particular challenges and are able to deliver files in all languages.
